Abstract charcoal art

WALT: Find an artist style or an image you like and copy it.

This is my charcoal art drawing. It took me a couple of times to accomplish but in the end it worked out pretty good.  This is how I did it.
1. I looked at some images and chose the one I liked.
2. Then I tried to copy as much as I could but I decided to change it up a little bit, with pencil.
3. I went over the pencil outline with charcoal.
4. Then with my finger I smudged the charcoal a little bit.
5.Then I went around the outside with charcoal and made it a bit more darker.
And then I was done.

Something I could of done better was made it more like the artists one because I changed up a lot.  Do you like my art? if you do comment down below. Thanks for looking at my blog, bye.

jim dine charcoal art

WALT: Draw a tool in the style of Jim Dine.

This is my Jim Dine tool. Jim Dine is an artist that does lots of charcoal drawings. Mine is nowhere as good as his art.
1: The first thing I had to do was get a piece of paper, a bit of charcoal and a tool or object. (I chose scissors because I couldn't be bothered waiting for the hammer)
2: Secondly I had to trace the scissors on the paper.
3: Thirdly I had to get my piece of charcoal and go over my scissors drawing with it.
4: After that I had to sort of scribble around the outside of the scissors with the charcoal.
5: Lastly I smudged it around.
and then I was done.

One thing I could have done was made the outside of my scissors a bit darker. I also could have smudged it a bit better. The challenging part about this piece of art was that the scissors kept moving and it took me a while to do the outlines. Have you seen a Jim Dine photo before?
Thanks for looking at my blog. bye

my slide show of camera shots and angles

WALT: to take different shots and explain what the purpose is.

This is mine and my friend Lylas work that we did today when we had cybersmart. Todays lesson we had to take photos of our friends using different angles.
this is how we did it:
1. We took photos of ourselves.
2. We put them in our slides.
3. We put in what the purpose was for the angles and shots.
Lastly I posted it on my blog.
One thing I could have done better was to write better descriptions.
If you like my slideshow comment down below.
bye.

my jim dine drawing

WALT: develop practical knowledge and ideas for our art this is my Jim dine art that I have recently finished. this is how I did it
1. I used a pencil to draw a mountain.
 2. I used charcoal to go over my pencil line very dark.
 3. then I used the charcoal to colour lots of the mountain but left the tops of the mountains white.
 4. then I did the grassy area.
 5. I smudged the charcoal with my finger lightly.
 6. I did the sun.
 7. I wrote my name on it. lastly i took a photo and posted on my blog.
one thing that i could of done was maybe make the smallest mountain a bit bigger. even though i haven't done much charcoal drawings this is my best one. if there is something you would like me to draw or what i should of done better then please comment down below
