Be Internet Awesome

WALT: Tell the difference between real and fake emails and ie fishing.
Today we had cybersmart and we were learning how to tell the difference between fake and real emails. We had to see if the URL matched the titles, see if all the spelling was correct, see if it said the persons name and not dear friend. Whaea Donna the cybersmart lady told us we could work in partners so me and my friend lyla worked together. We had to look at emails and see if they were  real or fake. We had to add in why we thought it was real or fake.                                    One thing we could of done better was  made our sentences longer.                                            Have you ever seen fake emails before?

Abstract charcoal art

WALT: Find an artist style or an image you like and copy it.

This is my charcoal art drawing. It took me a couple of times to accomplish but in the end it worked out pretty good.  This is how I did it.
1. I looked at some images and chose the one I liked.
2. Then I tried to copy as much as I could but I decided to change it up a little bit, with pencil.
3. I went over the pencil outline with charcoal.
4. Then with my finger I smudged the charcoal a little bit.
5.Then I went around the outside with charcoal and made it a bit more darker.
And then I was done.

Something I could of done better was made it more like the artists one because I changed up a lot.  Do you like my art? if you do comment down below. Thanks for looking at my blog, bye.

jim dine charcoal art

WALT: Draw a tool in the style of Jim Dine.

This is my Jim Dine tool. Jim Dine is an artist that does lots of charcoal drawings. Mine is nowhere as good as his art.
1: The first thing I had to do was get a piece of paper, a bit of charcoal and a tool or object. (I chose scissors because I couldn't be bothered waiting for the hammer)
2: Secondly I had to trace the scissors on the paper.
3: Thirdly I had to get my piece of charcoal and go over my scissors drawing with it.
4: After that I had to sort of scribble around the outside of the scissors with the charcoal.
5: Lastly I smudged it around.
and then I was done.

One thing I could have done was made the outside of my scissors a bit darker. I also could have smudged it a bit better. The challenging part about this piece of art was that the scissors kept moving and it took me a while to do the outlines. Have you seen a Jim Dine photo before?
Thanks for looking at my blog. bye

WALT: to take different shots and explain what the purpose is.

This is mine and my friend Lylas work that we did today when we had cybersmart. Todays lesson we had to take photos of our friends using different angles.
this is how we did it:
1. We took photos of ourselves.
2. We put them in our slides.
3. We put in what the purpose was for the angles and shots.
Lastly I posted it on my blog.
One thing I could have done better was to write better descriptions.

my jim dine drawing

WALT: develop practical knowledge and ideas for our art this is my Jim dine art that I have recently finished. this is how I did it
1. I used a pencil to draw a mountain.
 2. I used charcoal to go over my pencil line very dark.
 3. then I used the charcoal to colour lots of the mountain but left the tops of the mountains white.
 4. then I did the grassy area.
 5. I smudged the charcoal with my finger lightly.
 6. I did the sun.
 7. I wrote my name on it. lastly i took a photo and posted on my blog.
one thing that i could of done was maybe make the smallest mountain a bit bigger. even though i haven't done much charcoal drawings this is my best one. if there is something you would like me to draw or what i should of done better then please comment down below

my gabriel moreno art

WALT: create an image in the style of Gabriel Moreno
At the start of this term in Totara class for our art we had to make a portrait of ourselves in the style of Gabriel Moreno. In our art we had to include some  zentangle art, key features, bold outlines, light and dark areas and patterns.  After morning tea or lunch our teacher would read us a book and while he read we would do our Gabriel Moreno art.
How I made my art:
1: My teacher took a photo of me and I then had to get it from the printer.
2: Then I got a blank piece of paper and put them together and started tracing my face by a window.
3: After that I started drawings patters or zentangle patterns on my face and on the blank bits of the outside of my face.
4: Lastly I did black outlines with a pen and also coloured in some things black.
I liked doing Gabriel Moreno art because we could put any type of patterns that we wanted to put in but my least favourite part about this art is because it took a long time because I had to put in lots of small and big details. Have you ever done art like this before? If you have comment down below.

WALT: Make a quality blog post about rugby league

This term in Totara class we have been doing rugby league every Wednesday with Jim and Kelly. Jim and Kelly taught us skills and how to play rugby league. In the first 4 weeks Jim and Kelly taught us ball skills. Then we went on to the rules of rugby league. Then we started playing rugby league. At first it was scary because I didn't  know how to play rugby league but Kelly and Jim were there to help us.  One thing the team could of done was try harder to get the ball, and not walk to the ball. One thing i could of done was stay in position and not by off side.
Jim and Kelly gave the boys an opportunity to play in the reps. Some of the girls wanted to play but they weren't allowed.  I'm still not very good at rugby league that's why I hope Kelly and Jim teach us next term.
Have you ever played rugby league before???
